Arvi

Arvi, also known as Taro Root or Colocasia esculenta, is a starchy root vegetable widely used in South Asian cuisine. It has a brown, fibrous exterior with a white, slightly slimy flesh inside that offers a unique blend of nutty and mildly sweet flavors. Commonly referred to as “arbi” in Urdu and Hindi, it’s a staple in dishes like Arvi Gosht and Arvi Palak.​
